Join the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Biomedical Informatics Center (BMIC) artificial intelligence (AI) research team. This position is grant funded on ADAPT in SC (Advancement of Personalized and Transformative Healthcare in South Carolina) research community. ADAPT in SC is a National Science Foundation RII Track-1 EPSCoR grant. The successful candidate will be working with a vibrant research team on AI applications in the field of biomedicine with focus on large language models, explainability, ethics, trust, and other interesting research areas. The position is based at MUSC in the Biomedical Informatics Center. Contribute to shaping scientific objectives, research projects planning, execution, and analysis related to AI projects in biomedicine. Collaborate with faculty members at MUSC and across the state with considerable impact. Participate in the design and execution of research projects, and the preparation of presentations and manuscripts.
