Responsibilities include but are not limited to the
following:

Develops advanced methods, processes,
algorithms, tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, Tableau) to extract meaningful data
from structured and unstructured data, images, and other information sources to
answer scientific questions.

Develops and leads data science efforts that
integrate technologies to gather and extract meaning from data.
·
Contributes to and validates writing code in
programming languages (e.g., R, Python) to create data visualizations,
including interactive dashboards, charts, and graphs.
·
Performs validation to ensure the data are FAIR
(findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable), traceable, and compatible
with the organizational goals.
·
Develops and provides instruction in the use of
data science tools with a focus on R and Python.
·
Serves as a subject matter expert in data
science.
