Description:

We are seeking a candidate who will work as a program administrator for a highly variable set of funding programs from initiating the program solicitation to conducting application review and recommending final list for approval of funding. This individual is responsible for activities, oversight, and administrative guidance for compliance with sponsor, federal, and state regulations, university policies, and HSC Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) procedures.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and four years of experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


Job Duties:

  • Oversee development of Call for Proposals for new programs launched by AIM-AHEAD. Work with program directors, project management, budget management and funding agency staff in developing the call for proposals .
  • Manage proposal resources (application platform, FAQs, respond to help-desk questions, application deadlines) to monitor and provide near real-time responses.
  • Develop and maintain database of scientific reviewers . Manage the scientific review process by assigning reviewers and oversee the review process.
  • Prepare summary of reviews and metadata for programmatic considerations by the AIM­ AHEAD leadership.
  • Maintain systems to monitor and document applications and process outcomes, as well as lessons learned for future solicitations. On an ongoing basis, assess the quality, efficiency and integrity of the process, seeking continual improvement and innovation.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Vice President for Minority Health and Health Disparities .
